5. A Walk Along the Marine Drive

The Marine Drive is a place where all the romantic hearts meet. If you want to impress your partner, you can take him/her on a long walk along the 4 km promenade. 6. Family Time at Haji Ali and Siddhivinayak Temple

If you and your family are religious, then best place for a get-together is at Haji Ali and Siddhivinayak temple.  Haji Ali Dargah is a 400 year-old structure, it is marvelled for the intricate Indo-Islamic architecture, and forms a popular place of worship. On the other hand, Siddhivinayak temple is dedicated to the Lord Ganesha. It was built in 1801 and since then residents and tourists visit it to seek blessings and offer prayers. 7. Seek Entertainment at Film City Goregaon

The Mumbai Film City is an unavoidable day-out and celebration spot. There is an entry fee charged and you can select a package tour as per your interest. The Film City has gardens, lakes, artificial mountains, studio cities and villages, and film-shooting sets. You can even chance upon a live shoot. It is close to Borivali National Park. Several entertainment shows are held at particular times and you can spend almost the whole day here.

8. Adventure at Essel World and Water Kingdom

Essel World and Water Kingdom adventure and sports park, and located next to each other. At Essel World you can explore rollercoaster rides and adventure sports, while at the Water Kingdom, you can explore water sports and rides. If you want to plan a day-out with a group of friends, then you can choose any of the above two. It takes almost the whole day to get done with either of these two, thus, it is advisable to dedicate one day each to Essel World and Water Kingdom.

9. Shivaji park

Shivaji Park in Dadar is one of the largest public parks in Mumbai. Though this park offers many sport activities but visiting this will definitely show you the love and passion that Mumbai holds for cricket.

The most famous cricketer i.e Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was once a part of this iconic place.

10. Elephanta Caves

Situated in Elephanta Island which is about an hour boat ride from Gateway of India, Elephanta Caves holds a strong and interesting history with it. The locals know it by the name of Gharapuri. It is also an UNESCO world heritage site. A visit to the Elephanta caves will take you back to the historical times in the 6^th Century.
